Heathers Pregger News:

6/29/08- Cant believe I taught a class 8 months pregnant a week ago. But I just couldnt resist!!! I missed teaching so much. I also miss the socializing and getting to know everyone. I have 5 weeks to go! I will be back in a flash and tearing up the floor to take off my baby weight. Not to mention I have some great pre natal classes to start upon my return. Staying fit safely is so important during pregnancy. Look forward to seeing the students again and the new moms in the studio for class.

03/11/2008 -Event Spa /My friends and I held a private party where we learned to Pole Dance. None of us had ever done this before. A couple of my friends were skeptical that they wouldn't like it, but we all ended up having an amazing time! The instructor facilitated learning and was patient and helpful whenever we had any trouble. I would definitely recommend The Event Spa! Just beware that you will probably have bruises the next day if you try pole dancing. They are well worth it though.

10/15/2007 -Event Spa / Just took intro to lap dancing as part of a bachelorette party. It was so much fun I wish it was longer. Anyone can do it (with or without dance background).

10/15/2007 -SSlimFitness / Stripping Slim is an amazing studio that offers fun classes that ANYONE can have a blast with. It is fun to learn some routines for that special someone at home or just to have a great time with your girlfriends. Sign up for a class....you won't regret it.

I have attended a few classes and have enjoyed the whole experience. All the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. A must do for anyone stuck in a rut or needing change to their routine. Also the great thing about the studio is the pay as you go format - no membership fees. Orlando needs this kind of fun.

Welcome to our third edition of our Web Newsletter .

Why the two company names?

We wanted to take this time to clarify some confusion by our two names. The location of the studios is called The Event Spa. However all the classes in the event spa are run by Stripping Slim Fitness. So if you recieve emails from either or both, that is probably why. If your getting too many emails please elect to have your email unsubscribed from one of them, as we know what a pain it is to get duplicate emails. Gemini Edge Productions Inc is our corporate name that the two companies are run under. Hope this clarifies any confusion.

What are Soak N Socials?

Soak N Socials are our monthly parties open to the public with our services at a discounted rate. Some monthly themes are just dance, or spa, or both. Its an opportunity to try out the services in both the dance studio and in the spa in mini versions for alternative to a girls night downtown. Each month has a different theme!! The more you come to, the more cheaper it gets:) Its also a chance to check out different products at discounted prices.

CAN CAN CARDIO™, Using the elements of Burlesque French Can Can we bring you a high intensity cardio workout. High kicks and proper stretching are part of the fun where old burlesque style meets new! Bring a skirt. This will return after the holidays!

Pop Star Cardio™-learn the choreography from your favorite female pop stars world tour or music video. This class does incorporate a lot of hip hop style dancing. This class is 1. 5 hours long

New PRENATAL CLASS styles coming this Fall.....

Pregger Pole™-PRE/ POST NATAL - a slow paced strengthening and stretching pole class. THERE IS NO SPINNING in the class. Class uses a mat, bands and the pole as props for ballet inspired moves to strenghten the pelvic floor and surrounding muscle groups.

Baby Belly Fusion™-PRE/ POST NATAL - a fun fusion of pilates, jazz, and belly dance inspired moves to keep mommy moving and baby healthy.

Party Themes- New!

Sex And The City (Spa & Dance)- Stiletto Strut Class™, Manicures, and complimentary Martini and viewing of an episode of the famous show. Martinis, shoes, and manicures, your set for the city.

Striptease (Spa & Dance)- Mini PoleTeaser Class, Paraffin, and complimentary Martini while viewing the movie with all the moves.

We have 2 new Orlando instructors!. Please give a warm welcome to Mary and Jessica!. You'll see them in your classes, goes easy on them.. LOL :) And of course we are always looking for instructors in all areas we teach, so if you know anyone that would be a great fit, let us know!

We also have a new office assitant, Amanda. She will be covering Heather until she returns from maternity leave at the end of September. Welcome Amanda!
